Human Rights and the Next Generation

Human Rights and the Next Generation

Young people deserve to grow up in a world where their rights are respected and protected but because Australia is the only liberal democracy in the world without a federal Human Rights Act, they currently have no legal recourse to protect their human rights when they are under attack. The Australian government must act now and legislate a human rights Act. (Write your ideas for this campaign below. Points

I think this is an important area because it directly affects me as I am 16, I believe youth itself is under attack via a lot ways, e.g. global warming, housing crisis, inflation, pollution etc. I genuinely fear for my future. I fear that there won't be a world to live in when I'm 30. I want kids, but I fear bringing them into a world that's dying where the government wont protect us properly and fix their mistakes. They don't own up to it. So no one likes them. If they were honest and actually did what was in the COMMUNITIES best interest instead for themselves, they'd have more support. I need to know my future is protected. I need to know they are protecting my right to live and exist.

A Humanitarian Rights Act

A Human Rights Act is vitally important and must include protections against LGBTQIA+ vilification and provide for an be LGBTQIA+ Human Rights Commissioner.

As far as I know, there is a general election in Canada, and after the election, 8,500 illegal immigrants working in Canada due to housing shortage will be granted permanent residency by granting human rights amnesty . I understand that Australia is also suffering from manpower shortages, but Australia needs to appeal through this election. Australia is should stop immigration like Canada and pardon illegal immigrants. The condition is not to mention how many years it took to live in low-population areas other than Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Canberra for the sake of the local economy. I thought it would be good to appeal to illegal immigrants and refugees who have technical licenses or proof of employment in this country to get human rights amnesty
